What’s your favorite thing from the 1970s and why?
My favorite things from the 70s were burnt orange shag carpets and olive green appliances. How did we ever let these groovy color schemes go?
What is your favorite 1970s horror movie? What do you like about it?
I watched Kolchak: The Night Stalker. It was riveting. I had nightmares for years and ended up as a writer of mystery stories.

Disco—That’s the Way I Like It! Mirror balls, gold disco jumpsuits, and platform shoes, getting down on the disco floor.

What upcoming projects are you working on?
I’ve just submitted a short story about a dazzling dangerous love triangle and have started preliminary work on a YA novel.
