Wax & Wane: All Sales Final

What is your story about?
A magical story where memories become currency, the only thing a desperate mother has left to sell.

What do you like most about witches?

Other than some questionable ingredients in potions and brews, what’s not to like? But if I had to pick one thing, I suppose the fact that they’re partial to black cats is a big plus in my books.

Who is your favorite fictional or legendary witch, and why?

Although I’m rather fond of the Graeae (the three witches from Greek mythology who shared one eye and were sisters to the Gorgons), Professor Snape from Harry Potter is probably my favorite fictional witch. There’s so much under the surface of that master of potions. I’d gladly go for a Mulled Mead with him.

Would you rather be a good witch or a wicked witch? Why?

I’d be a mix, because nothing is ever all good or all bad, even in magick.

What’s up next for you?

I’m currently working on a fantasy novel and compiling a chapbook of poems for submission. It’s going to be a busy year!
